With most of our workshops we start from scratch to go over all our moves, taking into account your experience and dance level. We always start by breaking down the steps and adding tips on technique and style throught the session. You come out of the fun workshop feeling full of confidence to get right back onto your nearest dancefloor.

Our workshops are delivered either by our very own dance teachers helped by our freindly crew, or they are suppliment by some of the best teachers from around the uk, and beyond..).

Jivefusion workshops include: Basic Moves, Improver, Intermediate & Advanced Modern Jive.

Workshops for specific styling are also programmed such as: Dips, Drops & Seducers, Musicology; West Coast Swing, Blues, Lyndyhop and Salsa to mention a few...

Workshop Bookings

Booking in advance is essential as we try to keep the numbers between leaders and followers even (it also ensures we can go ahead with sufficient dancers).

Even numbers of Leaders and Followers. In order to keep the numbers even we do have a policy where we will only accept a certain number of leaders and/or followers before placing a restriction on bookings. If the numbers become unbalanced, we will then only take bookings from whichever is required to keep the workshop with even numbers.

"Couples" are 2 people booking on together as Leader & Follower. If we have to restrict single bookings, we do not discriminate against single people booking on; however, the workshops are much more productive and fun with even numbers. If you want to book on but dont have a partner, ask around at the venues (or anywhere else) and try to find an opposite (Leader/Follower) dancer to book on with you.

Workshop places are non refundable. ensure you are fit and avaiable to attend before placing your booking either via the website or at a jivefusion venue. Please make sure you keep your reciept and ensure you can produce it if required at the workshops. Occassionally workshops are cancelled due to unforseen circumstances, even at short notice. If we cancel the workshop we will refund the moneys in full.
